Water Fountain, Batavia PIK

Jakarta, May 13, 2025 - Batavia PIK, located in Pantai Indah Kapuk area, North Jakarta, is now one of the rising tourist destinations. With a concept that carries European colonial-style architecture and a modern atmosphere, Batavia PIK has succeeded in attracting the attention of Jakarta residents and its surroundings, especially photo and culinary lovers.

One of the main attractions of Batavia PIK is the water fountain located in the center of the area. This fountain area offers a charming view, especially at night when colorful lights shine on the water fountain. The atmosphere presented makes visitors feel as if they are abroad, away from the hustle and bustle of the capital city.

One of the first-time visitors to Batavia PIK was Rizki (22) from Tangerang. According to him, this place is very aesthetic and in accordance with what he saw on social media.
“At first I saw a lot of photos on Instagram, people taking photos here. The place looked really nice, so I wanted to come. When I arrived, the atmosphere was really cool, far from the crowds of Jakarta,” said Rizki

Rizki also expressed his admiration for the water fountain area which is one of the favorite spots of many visitors. In addition to the charming fountain, Sinta also mentioned that this place is comfortable to relax while enjoying the beach breeze.

“The fountain is very interesting, especially at night. The lights make the atmosphere more lively,” Rizki continued.

Other visitors also liked the clean and well-organized design of the colonial-style building. Not only a comfortable place to take pictures, Batavia PIK also has a variety of culinary choices that spoil the tongue. Rizki said she tried some of the food there, such as sate Padang and Japanese ice cream, which he found very tasty and fresh.

“The food is plentiful, delicious, and the price is not expensive. I tried the Padang satay which was really spicy. This place is perfect for hanging out with friends or family,” said Rizki.

Batavia PIK has indeed succeeded in combining the concept of a tourist spot that is suitable for various groups, ranging from families, young couples, to those who just want to unwind after a routine. In addition, the complete public facilities make visitors feel comfortable while they are here.

Kemiri Park: A Green Oasis and Family Hangout Spot in Tangerang

Tangerang, Banten – Kemiri Park, located in front of the Kemiri Sub-district Office in Tangerang Regency, has quickly become one of the community's favorite spots, especially for families with young children. On late afternoons and weekends, the park comes alive with kids running around the playground while parents relax on benches or grassy areas under shady trees.

What makes Kemiri Park even more appealing is the presence of street food vendors lining the park's surroundings. From traditional snacks like cilok and es mambo to fried foods and grilled sausages, the food scene adds a casual and festive atmosphere to this already vibrant space. “My kids love it here. They can play freely while I enjoy a coffee and some snacks—it’s perfect,” said Rina, a local resident from Kemiri Village.

The park’s accessibility and strategic location are some of its strongest points. Designed to be family-friendly, it includes play areas, flower gardens, and walkways that invite visitors to spend more time outdoors.

However, some challenges remain. Several visitors have pointed out limited trash bins, which sometimes leads to littering, especially during peak hours. “It’s a nice place, but sometimes trash is everywhere because there aren’t enough bins nearby,” commented Wahyu, another resident.

Despite these issues, Kemiri Park holds great potential. With proper management and support from local authorities, it could evolve into a hub for community events, local bazaars, and even environmental education for children. The park briefly closed in early 2024 due to its proximity to an election logistics warehouse, but has since reopened to the public, once again serving as a vital gathering space for the neighborhood.

More than just a recreational area, Kemiri Park reflects the spirit of togetherness among the people of Kemiri—a shared public space that brings joy, connection, and a breath of fresh air.
