Rajeg, July 28, 2025 – The KKN Rajeg Mulya group proudly organized a memorable public viewing event for the AFF Final match between Indonesia and Vietnam, held in the heart of the Gardenia neighborhood. The event brought together a large crowd of excited residents, all united by one common passion—supporting the Indonesian national team.
Held in a spacious outdoor field near the community center, the watch party featured a large projector screen and a high-quality sound system, all set up by the KKN team themselves. From late afternoon, residents of all ages began arriving with mats, chairs, snacks, and even homemade food to share with neighbors. Children were seen running around in red-and-white face paint, while teenagers and adults sported jerseys and headbands, ready to cheer for Garuda.
As the sun set and kickoff approached, the sense of excitement grew stronger. Once the match began, every pass, tackle, and goal attempt was met with cheers, gasps, and applause. The highlight of the night came when Indonesia scored a goal, triggering an eruption of joy across the crowd—people stood, clapped, and waved flags as if they were inside the stadium itself.
Throughout the event, the spirit of togetherness was undeniable. The KKN Rajeg Mulya team also prepared a small trivia session about Indonesian football during halftime, giving out simple prizes like snacks and stickers to keep the crowd engaged. Volunteers helped ensure cleanliness and order, while some members of the team documented the event as part of their community report.
Beyond entertainment, this public viewing served as a creative approach to community building. By organizing a fun and inclusive event, KKN Rajeg Mulya successfully fostered local pride, strengthened bonds among residents, and promoted a sense of belonging—especially among the youth. Many attendees expressed their appreciation, hoping that events like this could be held more often.
This initiative showcased how KKN programs can go beyond traditional activities and make a real impact through creativity, cultural relevance, and emotional connection. It was not only about football, but about celebrating Indonesian spirit—together.
